Maison Swazelle began with a wedding and a frustrating search for the right dress.

When one of our founders began shopping for her own wedding gown in Montréal, she found herself caught between beautiful dresses at prices far beyond what she expected and more accessible options that meant compromising on the design she truly wanted.

So we approached it differently. Starting with the silhouettes and details she loved, we set out to develop a custom, one-of-a-kind gown around her measurements, her style and the way she imagined herself on her wedding day. The result was a dress that felt entirely her own, without having to step into the price range traditionally associated with bespoke bridal.

That experience became the idea behind Maison Swazelle and shaped the way we work today.

Rather than keeping a traditional stock of gowns for brides to choose from, we begin with the bride herself. Through private consultations, we interpret your inspiration, explore silhouettes and details, and refine a design around your individual measurements and vision. From there, we coordinate the creation of your gown and guide the process through to its final fitting.

At Maison Swazelle, the dress begins with the bride, not with a rack of existing designs.
